Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Samuel other than they indicate that Samuel would be found somewhere in Washington County, Texas. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1889 and closed in 1905. Communities Also Named Samuel ...We found two communities that share the name Samuel. Within Texas, the name Samuel is unique. Beyond Texas, we know of another two communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these two communities, one is located in the United States and the other in Canada.
