Welcome to Running Water ...So far, we found very little information about Running Water. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Running Water to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. Running Water was located in the Texas Panhandle. While we don't have the exact location of Running Water , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hale County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Running Water, you might consider that their post office opened in 1891. Time Zone: The area where Running Water was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Running Water still existed, it would have been in the (806) area code.
