From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1845 and closed in 1930. Communities Also Named Point Isabel ...We found three communities that share the name Point Isabel. Within Texas, the name Point Isabel is unique. Beyond Texas, we know of another three communities that are located throughout in the United States.
