The location of Oriana has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Oriana, you might consider that their post office opened in 1901. While the community is gone, the present day location for Oriana is 1,810 feet [552 m] above sea level.<4>.
