So far, we found very little information about Highway. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>
We've added Highway to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. Highway was located While we don't have the exact location of Highway , we believe that it would have been located within present day Grayson County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Highway, you might consider that their post office opened in 1902. Time Zone: The area where Highway was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Texas communities named Highway: This one is located in Grayson County and the other is located in Dallas County. Beyond Texas, there are 3 communities that are also named Highway - they are located in Kentucky and Ohio. For more information, see our Tidbits & Trivia Page for Highway. From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Highway was on a map titled Map of Texas (from Rand McNally, 1911). We also found Highway in the book titled .<3> From that list, the Highway post office opened in 1902.
