Miscellaneous References and Mentions

While our initial information about Geronimo came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Geronimo in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Geronimo. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our Geronimo data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete.

Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895)
Published by Rand McNally & Co.

A note taken from the Shipper's Guide for Geronimo:
Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, no Railroad mentioned

Geronimo is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

Both the GNIS and FIPS databases contain entries for Geronimo. See our Misc Page for Geronimo for more information.
