Welcome to Estacado ...So far, we found very little information about Estacado. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Estacado to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. If you can help us with Estacado, please Contact Us. Estacado was located in the Texas Panhandle. Estacado would have been located within present day Crosby County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Estacado, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated ?. While the community is gone, the present day location for Estacado is 3,190 feet [972 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Estacado is about ½ mile above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Estacado was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Estacado still existed, it would have been in the (806) area code.
