Kendall County was founded in 1862. Kendall was created by taking area from Blanco and Kerr Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Kendall had a population of 47,431 people. This is an increase of 41.21% since the last Census (which gave a population of 33,589 people in 2010). At the time of the 2010 Census, Kendall represented 0.13% of the total population of Texas.
