So far, we found very little information about Chipley. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Chipley was located in the Texas Panhandle.
While we don't have the exact location of Chipley , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hockley County<2>.
Time Zone: The area where Chipley was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time
If Chipley still existed, it would have been in the (806) area code.
Communities Also Named Chipley ...
Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Texas communities named Chipley: This one is located in Hockley County and the other is located in Victoria County.
Beyond Texas, there are 3 communities that are also named Chipley - they are located in Florida and Georgia.
