While our initial information about Carta Valley came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Carta Valley in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Carta Valley. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Carta Valley, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.

 

Carta Valley is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Carta Valley post office opened in 1907 and had closed by 1976.
