Do you know of Carrizo ???This page is an orphan - a placeholder until we can discover more about Carrizo. Such is the case with Carrizo.<1> Our sources for Carrizo (see Mentions and References below) indicate that it was a community with a post office by the same name. Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Carrizo other than they indicate that Carrizo would be found somewhere in Zapata County, Texas. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1854 and closed in 1901. Communities Also Named Carrizo ...We found three communities that share the name Carrizo. Within Texas, the name Carrizo is unique. Beyond Texas, we know of another three communities that are located throughout in the United States.
