Welcome to Candlish ...

So far, we found very little information about Candlish. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Candlish to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Candlish - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Candlish, please Contact Us.

Candlish was located on the South Texas Plains.

While we don't have the exact location of Candlish , we believe that it would have been located within present day Bee County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Candlish, you might consider that their post office opened in 1907.

Time Zone: The area where Candlish was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Candlish was on a map titled Map of Texas (from Rand McNally, 1911).

We also found Candlish in the book titled .<3> X3X - From that list, the Candlish post office opened in 1907.
