The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Cambridge to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. Cambridge was located While we don't have the exact location of Cambridge , we believe that it would have been located within present day Clay County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Cambridge, you might consider that their post office opened in 1875. Time Zone: The area where Cambridge was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Cambridge once stood is in the (940) area code. Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Texas communities named Cambridge: This one is located in Clay County and the other is located in Grayson County.
