Welcome to Caddo Grove ...

So far, we found very little information about Caddo Grove. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Caddo Grove was located

While we don't have the exact location of Caddo Grove , we believe that it would have been located within present day Johnson County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Caddo Grove, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1869.

A typical abbreviation for Caddo Grove: Caddo Grv.

Time Zone: The area where Caddo Grove was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Caddo Grove in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Caddo Grove was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Caddo Grove post office opened in 1869.

We also found Caddo Grove in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
