Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Bryan had an population of 86,508 people. This is an increase of 13.53% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 31.75% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Bryan had a population of 76,201 people (which is 38.94% of the total population of Brazos County). This makes Bryan the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Bryan represents 0.3% of the total population of Texas (which has 25,145,561 people), making it the state's 44th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 76,201 people, the population of Bryan increased 16.05% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 65,660 people).
