The location of Belcherville has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Belcherville, you might consider that their post office opened in 1887. While the community is gone, the present day location for Belcherville is 900 feet [274 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Belcherville was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time If Belcherville still existed, it would have been in the (940) area code.
