While our initial information about Watson came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Watson in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Watson. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our Watson data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete.

 

Watson is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Watson post office opened in 1904 and had closed by 1930.
