While we don't have a date for the founding of Snell, you might consider that their post office opened in 1886.
From the 2010 Census (the most recent Census number we have), Snell had a population of 1,387 people.<4> (see below for details).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Snell was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
From that list, the Snell post office opened in 1886.
