While we don't have a date for the founding of Naola, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1886.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Naola is 1,040 feet [317 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Naola was located is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel east from Naola (for example, toward Graysville), you will leave Central Time and cross into the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT).

We originally found mention of Naola in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Naola was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Naola post office opened in 1886.

We also found Naola in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
