While we don't have a date for the founding of Nameless, you might consider that their post office opened in 1886.

The origin (or the toponymy) of Nameless: Lore has it that the town couldn't agree on a name for itself. When the town sent their application for a post office, the name was left blank. When the application was processed, it was stamped as being 'Nameless' and the name stuck.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found (so far) for Nameless was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Nameless post office opened in 1886. The Nameless post office closed in 1909.
