The population of Livingston represents 0.06% of the total population of Tennessee (which has 6,346,105 people), making it the state's 115th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,058 people, the population of Livingston increased 16.01% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 3,498 people).
