At the time of the 2010 Census, Johnson City had a population of 63,152 people (which is 51.35% of the total population of Washington County). This makes Johnson City the county's most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 63,152 people, the population of Johnson City increased 13.85% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 55,469 people).
