Time Zone: Robertson County lies in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT) and observes daylight saving time.

The community of Springfield is the Seat for Robertson County.

Robertson County was founded in 1796. Robertson was created by taking area from and Sumner Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Robertson had a population of 71,693 people. This is an increase of 8.16% since the last Census (which gave a population of 66,283 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Robertson represented 1.04% of the total population of Tennessee.

While it makes interesting reading all by itself, it should be of special interest to genealogists and family historians looking for people who were either affected by or directly involved in such tragedies.
