So far, we found very little information about Birds Bridge. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Birds Bridge , we believe that it would have been located within present day Greene County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Birds Bridge, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1879.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Birds Bridge was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

X2X - From that list, the Birds Bridge post office opened in 1879.

We also found Birds Bridge on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Tennessee (1888).
