How Far From Agreeable to ...
We spend a lot of time looking through Gazetteers & Almanacs that were published in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Many of the Gazetteers include the distance from a community such as Agreeable to various places of note, such as the White House.
With a nod to our favorite Gazetteers and using the location of where the historic<2> community of Agreeable once stood, the straight-line distance<3> beginning in Agreeable and extending to:
- Rutledge, which is the Seat of Grainger County, lies just to the Northeast.
- Nashville, which is the State Capital of Tennessee, lies 176 miles [283.2 km]<3> to the west (W).
