Welcome to Ogema ...

While we don't have a date for the founding of Ogema, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.

The town of Ogema is 2,380 feet [725 m] above sea level.<1> In other words, the altitude of Ogema is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: Ogema lies in the Central Standard Time Zone (CST) and does not observe daylight saving time. The time zone in French: CST- Heure Normale du Centre (HNC).

<1>	The elevation is an estimate for the area around Ogema - it will be higher in some places and lower in others.
<2>	When there's a risk of an area code running out of phone numbers, an 'Overlay Area Code' is created that has the same geographic boundaries as the existing area code. In this case, the 306 code has been Overlayed with one of the following codes: 474 or 639. New phone numbers in the Ogema area will be assigned with one of these codes: 306, 474 or 639.
