While our initial data about Wallum Lake came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Wallum Lake in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

The Wallum Lake post office opened in 1906 and had closed by 1976.
