So far, we found very little information about Pocasset. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Pocasset to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Pocasset - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Pocasset, please Contact Us.


While we don't have the exact location of Pocasset , we believe that it would have been located within present day Newport County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Pocasset was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

Pocasset would have been located in the (401) area code.

Communities Also Named Pocasset ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two Rhode Island communities named Pocasset: This one is located in Newport County and the other is located in Providence County.

Beyond Rhode Island, there are 3 communities that are also named Pocasset - they are located in Massachusetts and Oklahoma.
