From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Washington had a population of 125,874 people. This is a decrease of 0.87% since the last Census (which gave a population of 126,979 people in 2010).

While it makes interesting reading all by itself, it should be of special interest to genealogists and family historians looking for people who were either affected by or directly involved in such tragedies.
