At the time of the 2010 Census, Timblin had a population of 157 people. This makes Timblin the county's 9th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 157 people, the population of Timblin increased 3.97% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 151 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Timblin was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Timblin post office opened in 1889.

We also found Timblin in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
