At the time of the 2010 Census, Springdale had a population of 3,405 people. This makes Springdale the county's 42nd most populous community.

The population of Springdale represents 0.03% of the population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 284th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,405 people, the population of Springdale decreased 11.05% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 3,828 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Springdale was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Springdale post office opened in 1827.

We also found Springdale in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
