Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Ormsby other than they indicate that Ormsby would be found somewhere in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1861 and closed in 1874. Communities Also Named Ormsby ...We found four communities that share the name Ormsby. There is one other community in Pennsylvania which is also named Ormsby. Beyond Pennsylvania, we know of another three communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these three communities, three are located in the United States and one is in Canada.
