From our notes, the earliest published mention that we've found for New Kensington was the List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8> From that list, the New Kensington post office opened in 1891.

We also found New Kensington in the Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
