While our initial information about Maple Grove came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Maple Grove in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Maple Grove. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our Maple Grove data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete.

 

Maple Grove is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Maple Grove post office opened in 1871 and had closed by 1879.
