While our initial information about Maple Grove came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Maple Grove in various books and other sources.
We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Maple Grove. We hope that they will be useful to you.
Note: When we started collecting data about Maple Grove, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.
Maple Grove is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
From that list:
The Maple Grove post office opened in 1871 and had closed by 1879.
