At the time of the 2010 Census, Edgewood had a population of 3,118 people. This makes Edgewood the county's 48th most populous community.

The population of Edgewood represents 0.02% of the total population of Pennsylvania (which has 12,702,379 people), making it the state's 305th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 3,118 people, the population of Edgewood decreased 5.83% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 3,311 people).
