Cameron County was founded March 29, 1860. Cameron was created by taking area from Clinton, McKean, Elk and Potter Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Cameron had a population of 4,425 people. This is a decrease of 12.98% since the last Census (which gave a population of 5,085 people in 2010).
