While our initial information about Berne came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Berne in various books and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Berne. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Services available in 1895: had a Post Office, a Railroad Station, an Express Office

Berne is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
