Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Addison had an population of 204 people. This is a decrease of 1.45% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 4.67% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Addison had a population of 207 people. This makes Addison the county's 18th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 207 people, the population of Addison decreased 3.27% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 214 people).

We originally found mention of Addison in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Addison was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Addison post office opened in 1832.

We also found Addison in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
