Welcome to Clover ...So far, we found very little information about Clover. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1> We've added Clover to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. The location of Clover has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Clover, you might consider that their post office opened in 1882. While the community is gone, the present day location for Clover is 3,710 feet [1,131 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Clover is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Clover was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time Note: If you travel west from Clover (for example, toward Seneca), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT). Clover would have been located in the (541) & (458)<5> area codes.
