From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Komalty was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>

From that list, the Komalty post office opened in 1901.

We also found Komalty on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Oklahoma (1911).
