Welcome to Yoho ...

So far, we found very little information about Yoho. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Yoho to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Yoho - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Yoho, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Yoho , we believe that it would have been located within present day Gallia County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Yoho, you might consider that their post office opened in 1882.

Time Zone: The area where Yoho was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Yoho in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Yoho was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<4>

From that list, the Yoho post office opened in 1882.

We also found Yoho in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
