Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Woodstock had an population of 291 people. This is a decrease of 4.59% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 8.2% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Woodstock had a population of 305 people. This makes Woodstock the county's 6th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 305 people, the population of Woodstock decreased 3.79% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 317 people).

We originally found mention of Woodstock in both the FIPS-55 and the GNIS. For more information, see the FIPS and GNIS Codes sections on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Woodstock was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Woodstock post office opened in 1837.

We also found Woodstock in the book titled U.S. Post Offices (Oct. 1846).
