The location of Ural has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Ural, you might consider that their post office opened in 1880. While the community is gone, the present day location for Ural is 710 feet [216 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Ural was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Ural still existed, it would have been in the (740) area code.
