Welcome to Uncas ...

So far, we found very little information about Uncas. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Uncas to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Uncas - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Uncas, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Uncas , we believe that it would have been located within present day Ashland County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Uncas, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1901.

Time Zone: The area where Uncas was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The location where Uncas once stood is in the (419) & (567)<3> area codes.
