The location of Tadmor has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Tadmor, you might consider that their post office opened in 1884. While the community is gone, the present day location for Tadmor is 790 feet [241 m] above sea level.<4>.
