Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Xenia had an population of 26,993 people. This is an increase of 4.95% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 11.71% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Xenia had a population of 25,719 people (or 15.92% of the total population of Greene County). This makes Xenia the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Xenia represents 0.22% of the population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 57th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 25,719 people, the population of Xenia increased 6.44% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 24,164 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Xenia was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<8>

From that list, the Xenia post office opened in 1805.
