While we don't have the exact location of Skiffsville , we believe that it would have been located within present day Brown County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Skiffsville, you might consider that their post office opened in 1894.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Skiffsville was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Skiffsville post office opened in 1894.

We also found Skiffsville on a map titled George#&160;F. Cram Map (1901).
