While we don't have the exact location of Sherman , we believe that it would have been located within present day Huron County<2>. While we don't have a date for the founding of Sherman, you might consider that their post office opened in 1825. Time Zone: The area where Sherman was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time Communities Also Named Sherman ...While we believe that this Sherman is located in Huron County, we know of another 3 Ohio communities named Sherman. Those communities are located in the following counties: Ashtabula, Richland and Summit County.
