Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Shawnee had an population of 639 people. This is a decrease of 2.44% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 5.1% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Shawnee had a population of 655 people. This makes Shawnee the county's 7th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 655 people, the population of Shawnee increased 7.73% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 608 people).
