At the time of the 2010 Census, Ravenna had a population of 11,724 people (or 7.26% of the total population of Portage County). This makes Ravenna the county's 4th most populous community.

The population of Ravenna represents 0.1% of the total population of Ohio (which has 11,536,504 people), making it the state's 153rd most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 11,724 people, the population of Ravenna has remained roughly the same as the 2000 Census (with a count of 11,771 people).
